Privacy Policy
1. What We Collect
When you use Skore, we collect information needed to operate client portals and account access:
- Account information such as name, email address, hashed password, business name, and portal subdomain.
- Client portal information such as client names, company names, project slugs, portal settings, board cards, messages, invoices, and shared files.
- Billing and payment identifiers from Stripe, such as customer IDs, subscription state, and invoice payment status.
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser information, logs, and session cookies.
2. How We Use Data
We use data to provide Skore, authenticate users, route client portals, send transactional notifications, process payments, protect the service, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal data.
3. Client Portal Data
Skore stores portal content on behalf of the freelancer or consultant who created it. Clients can access portal content through shared links and, when enabled, optional portal passwords.
4. Files
Uploaded files are stored in private object storage. File access is provided through short-lived links generated by the application.
5. Cookies and Sessions
Skore uses cookies for authentication and portal sessions. We do not use advertising cookies on the public marketing site.
6. Third-Party Services
Skore may use third-party services to operate the product:
- Stripe for subscriptions and invoice payments.
- Brevo for website contact emails.
- Transactional email providers for product notifications.
- Cloud hosting, database, cache, and object storage providers.
7. Retention
We retain data while an account is active and as needed for legal, billing, security, backup, and operational requirements. Deleted or archived content may remain in backups for a limited period.
8. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting hello@skore.ca. We will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as Skore changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
